Nicky Henderson had the short-priced winner of this 12 months ago but Jen's Boy hasn’t shown much so far. The Bunnyman has some scope but this may chiefly concern the two previous winners. Esprit Du Large won a maiden at Uttoxeter in December and wasn’t disgraced in a Grade 2 at Haydock the following month but NEWTOWN BOY beat a smart novice here in November and went close under a penalty at Doncaster. He’s had wind surgery since and should be capable of winning further races.
