Verdict

A poor Hunter Chase rounds off the card but something has to win and the main protagonists look to be Prate Box, The Granby and Minella Storm and the vote goes to the last named. The selection was a good second behind Lancastrian Jet when last seen and if he can reproduce that effort here he would be hard to beat. Prate Box rates the main danger on his latest second behind County Derry but he is prone to breaking blood vessels and is not the most consistent so for that reason he is opposed. The Granby is also worthy of respect as he was a fair sort under rules and is dropping in grade but he may just need the run after a 374 day absence. Of the remainder Sip Of Brandy is not the most natural of jumpers, so for the winner we return to Minella Storm.
