Verdict

A wide open contest rounds off the card and many would have chances on there best form but the principals look to be Brigadier du Bois Up The Pub and Rosetown and the tentative vote is given to Up The Pub. The selection was a fair fourth behind Trenance last time out and with this slightly better ground in his favour he looks the value bet in an open affair. Brigadier du Bois rates the main danger on his latest third behind Return Home. That form has since been franked and on his return to chasing he could go well at a price. Rosetown is another that could go well on his latest third behind Business Money Jake but she looks to have enough weight for what she has actually archived and for that reason is opposed. Shoulton looks well weighted on his best form and ran as if about to hit form when third last time out. This is a very trappy affair but something has to win and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Up The Pub.
