In depth

Verdict

CELEBRE D’ALLEN was returning from a very long absence here last month but stayed on strongly to take the honours and can confirm running with third Homme Public, despite worse terms. Chti Balko goes well here and came up against a well-treated subsequent winner over shorter 12 days ago when Minella Charmer was pulled up. Rockadenn didn’t show much for new connections at Doncaster but Mister Watson won on heavy going at Lingfield and Rattle Owl would have solid claims if handling conditions. Collooney will likely be back over fences after this pipe-opener.
