In depth

Verdict

A couple of these won at the same fixture at Hereford earlier in the month. Buster Edwards appeared to improve for the first-time blinkers when scoring over hurdles and won’t start at odds of 25/1 today but LONGHOUSESIGNORA is preferred. The latter won easily over fences in a higher grade than this on that occasion but has gone very close off today’s mark over hurdles in the past and Venetia Williams’ mare is taken to go on again. Donnie Brasco has plenty of scope now handicapping for the first time and makes more appeal than Akarita Lights while Passam has been raised a further 3lb for finishing runner-up at Uttoxeter.
