In depth

Verdict

Bigmartre won easily at Fontwell on his UK debut then was attempting to concede 7lb to the useful Clondaw Clan over a longer trip on the same track. FLASHJACK looked ideally suited to testing ground at Leicester and has the scope to go on to better things. He faces a stiff task against Vintage Clouds, who proved his stamina when slamming his field over 2m3f on soft going here last month and who looks certain to give a good account. Bumper winner Wabanaki looked in need of the run and experience on his hurdling debut on heavy going at Lingfield and is the type to make good progress. Sarazen Bridge is related to numerous winners and is one to note in the market.
