Nigel Twiston-Davies has pitched recent Newcastle novice hurdle winner Florida Dream into a handicap for the first time here and he has to be respected but this is no race for one so inexperienced and preference is for Huka Lodge who gets the verdict over the consistent Kerry Lads. The selection got no further than the first fence at Ayr last time but has ground conditions to suit and, off just an 8lb higher mark than when a good winner at Hexham previously, he looks worth a punt on his return to hurdling. Turaath returned to form in a claimer at Huntingdon last time but this looks tougher and of more interest may be Web Master, who is closely matched with Woodenbridge Natif on running at Sedgefield earlier in the month. Like the selection, Kerry Lads reverts to hurdling and, like the selection, he will appreciate the testing conditions but he is not as well treated as Huka Lodge and preference is for the Len Lungo-trained gelding.
