The veteran Suegioo won over 2m2f at Pontefract in June though this is a much better class handicap. The lightly-raced Garbanzo completed a hat-trick with a course and distance victory on soft ground earlier this month and a 4lb rise doesn't look excessive but this can go to the progressive SURYA. John Gosden's colt is taking a step-up in grade after landing a track and trip handicap on ground with some give and has been hit with an 8lb rise though there looks plenty in the tank and he's in the Group 2 Long Distance Cup at Ascot next month. Baydar had been running poorly until bouncing back at Chester while Dominating is 9lb lower than his last winning mark last October.
