In depth

Verdict

Moonhawk, gets the vote in this maiden with Shipmaster and Kassiopeia rating the main dangers. The selection showed enough in three runs last season to suggest he could win a race of this nature and with his yard back amongst the winners he looks the one to be on. Shipmaster rates the main danger as he was a fair fifth behind Looker when last seen. His yard are in form and he should be closely watched in the market. Kassiopeia is from a yard in form and is sure to have learnt from his debut run last season but he is bred to be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time and he may be one to follow once handicapped. Of the remainder Rainbows Edge catches the eye on breeding and is another to note in the market but for the winner we are happy to return to Moonhawk.
