Donald McCain won the first running of this a year ago and Ile De Re can be given a chance despite a poor run when favourite at Ascot last time. Black Thunder was also market leader when only third at Kempton on his comeback but that will have blown the cobwebs away and he'll do better. This looks a better race than the one DOUBLE ROSS won at Cheltenham last week and a 7lb penalty has to be carried but he was very impressive when making all and galloping his rivals into the ground so a quick double looks on the cards. Rowan Tiger has been handed a massive 13lb rise for beating four rivals impressively at Fontwell which may prove too much to handle but the very progressive Lamb Or Cod hasn't been hit too hard with just 6lb extra for landing a Grade 3 handicap at Cheltenham last month so has to enter the equation.
