    Verdict

AL FURAT has slipped down the handicap since last winning and after showing signs of a resurgence at Newcastle last month, Ron Barr's charge gets the nod. Blazing Desert seems best on the Polytrack nowadays and Knox Overstreet is better over a longer trip. Call of Duty looks a threat as one of his two victories over course and distance came in this race last year while Teide Peak goes well for today's amateur jockey and the partnership won at Wolverhampton in December. Tapis Libre looks best of Mick Easterby's duo on his seasonal debut.
