Verdict

Irish raider Danecare and Golden Nun were the market leaders here but neither managed to make their presence felt as The Kiddykid produced a pillar-to-post effort to land the Listed event. George Duffield was at his strongest in the saddle as Coconut Penang gave chase inside the final furlong, but just could not get past. Apart from Brantwood who was always prominent and deservedly hung on to third, nothing else threatened to take a hand in the testing ground.
