Verdict

Plenty with claims in something of a lottery including Fort Bastion, who drops in class, while Rousayan went close in this grade at Ripon earlier and was ahead of Wilde Inspiration at the same track last time. Gratzie ran well in a classified contest at Ascot and Commodore won a lower grade race at Kempton recently., Top Beak and Pumaflor have been thereabouts of late while Justice Smart and DARK DEVIL are two of the less exposed types. The former needs to find a bit more having returned a losing favourite at Windsor but the latter was beaten less than a length at Carlisle recently and Richard Fahey’s charge gets a speculative vote racing off the same mark here.
