Verdict

Sue Smith runs a couple here with De Vous A Moi preferred of the pair as he looked a chaser with considerable potential last term in what was a light campaign which saw him land two of this three engagements in some style. A good season is expected from him. Three Faces West can be forgiven his reappearance run and Firebird Flyer is likely to develop into a nice handicapper this season but KAKI DE LA PREE is just preferred in a tight contest. He has shown his aptitude over a fence and is also effective on different surfaces allied to a pleasing attitude to his work as shown by a doughty success at Worcester in the summer. He is on a fair mark and should be in the shake-up in an open race.
