    Verdict

ESTEAMING was second over this trip at Bath before filling the same spot over a mile at York. Mick Channon's Sir Percy colt can finally get off the mark here as he's certain to act on the going whereas it's a bit of an unknown for Grendisar, though Marco Botti's charge will almost certainly improve on a fair debut in a decent maiden at Newmarket. Rhombus, Afro and Angilina all need to step up considerably on what they've shown so far and the market may be the best guide to the chances of debutant Jebulani, though he is a half-brother to a couple of winners.
