In depth

Verdict

Start Time is interesting in this as he’s now on a lower mark than when successful at Ayr around this time last year. Danecase returned with a win at Yarmouth though prefers quicker ground but Hamilton runner-up Bell Heather should be thereabouts again while Dutch Story is a rare runner here for Amanda Perrett, though has reserved his best for Yarmouth so far. Madrinho won over 6f at Chepstow last month but it’s a long time since he raced over a trip this far. CONSTANT has also been racing over 6f but he was finishing best of all at Thirsk last time and has won over 7f. If the blinkers work a second time, David O’Meara’s charge may be the one to side with as Lacan is an all-weather specialist.
