In depth

Verdict

This may not be as competitive as it first appears as it’s difficult to make a case for many of those in the bottom half of the handicap. EAMON AN CNOIC will obviously need to improve to follow up his win in a Fakenham maiden in this higher grade but he’s unexposed and capable of doing so. Uttoxeter second Vengeur De Guye really needs further and his stable is in a terrible run of form but course and distance winner Sleepy Haven showed a bit more last time at Lingfield. Baratineur is better than he showed on his reappearance here but The Character was only third at Sedgefield off this mark on his handicap debut.
