Verdict

Donald McCain won this in 2007 with Cloudy Lane and WYMOTT sports the same colours today. Progressive over fences last season when winning three times, he returned to action with a decent sixth behind Carruthers in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury last month. With improvement likely, he gets the vote here. Court Red Handed arrives in fine form having won two of his last three starts in chases and he should be thereabouts along with top weight Cape Tribulation, who will have benefited from his recent comeback run at this track. Cannington Brook has been running well without winning and Whats Up Woody is open to improvement on his seasonal debut.
