CONFESSIONAL looks a good bet to land the opener at the main expense of Bronze Beau and Fawley Green. The selection ran his best race yet in a decent contest at Ripon when he finished third behind Absolute Music earlier in the month. There should be more to come and in this easier race he looks a sound bet to get his head in front. Bronze Beau has had more chances than our selection and he is relatively exposed and he sets a fair standard as he posted another good effort last time to chase home Durham Express. Fawley Green has a similar profile to our selection and he was far from disgraced at Ripon last month in a race won by Hold Your Colour. That form has since been franked by the winner and on only his fourth visit to the racecourse he is worth strong consideration. Fear Nothing shaped with promise on his debut at Wolverhampton when he finished in mid-division in a race won by Waveband. He will need to improve to make his mark today but he should come on for his debut and he is not without hope. A fascinating race to open the card and the vote goes to Confessional.
