Verdict

JO'BURG was beaten a head by Licence To Till on identical terms at York in October but Silvestre De Sousa rather pinched the race on the winner that day. He now resumes his partnership with David O'Meara's eight-year-old, whom he steered into second place in a valuable handicap at Redcar earlier, and the placings may be reversed. Luggers Hall won over hurdles last month but may find a couple of these too quick over this trip on good ground while Sugar Hiccup has his first start since finishing second over 1m4f at Newbury in the autumn. Race-fit C&D winner Brouhaha may be best of the rest.
