In depth

Verdict

CLIFFS OF DOVER, six times a winner over hurdles and twice on the all-weather, was nowhere near his best at Kempton last month and is very much better than that so gets a chance to put matters right. Paddy A has won three of his last five and though untested over this trip wasn't stopping over 1m6f here last time. Dalshand has improved massively since stepped up to this trip and though up a grade was impressive at Lingfield last time. Question Of Faith comes here with a penalty for last week's victory at Ayr and is on his highest ever mark but Four KIngdoms only just failed to catch Golden Jeffrey over this trip at Musselburgh having beaten the winner over 1m5f at Ayr.
