Verdict

Kieren Fallon, recently retained by Saeed Bin Suroor, rides LOCKWOOD here for the boys in blue and he escapes a penalty for winning a Group 3 at Goodwood last August when Professor was only third. Second subsequently in a Group 2 at Doncaster, the grey looks the class act in this and can make a winning return. Glory Awaits was second to Dawn Approach in last year's 2000 Guineas but that has proved the high point of his career to date. Breton Rock was beaten at Leicester after winning at Thirsk but also appears to hold Professor on the form book. Highland Colori won the Ayr Gold Cup in September and is equally effective over this extra furlong so can't be ignored.
