A small field to end the day's action at Haydock but every one of the quintet holds claims with the vote just going to Celtic Truth, who showed likeable attitude at Brighton last time and gets the verdict over Camille Pissarro and Tizzy May. The selection is less exposed than her rivals after just three career starts and still looked green when winning at Brighton last time. A 6lb rise for that looks harsh but there should be plenty more to come from Roger Charlton's filly. Top weight El Coto struggled off his new mark at York last time and may do so again here and a bigger threat to the selection may be Richard Hannon's Tizzy May, who has been showing improved form of late. Camille Pissarro has a race of this nature within his compass but may need some help from the handicapper, who may have overreacted by putting up Fabulous Jet as much as he did for his win at Newcastle two starts ago. All in all, while all five of the runner shave to be respected it is Celtic Truth who holds the most solid claims and gets the vote.
