In depth

Verdict

This looks something of a lottery with only a speculative vote going to JUNE DOG. He returns to his winning trip of 6f after finishing down the field in the Windsor Castle at Ascot along with previous Wetherby winner Magnus. Alaska failed to cope under a penalty at Windsor having won at Brighton earlier while New Empire never figured in the Norfolk at Ascot and will be more at home in this. The selection’s stablemate Bodybuilder, Our Man In Havana, Jim Rockford and Shobrom could all go well now handicapping for the first time.
