In depth

Verdict

There are no going concerns surrounding Imperial Command in this and he ran well at Goodwood last week after getting of the mark over course and distance in July. Egrecio has finished second in three of his four outings for David O’Meara and is another who will enjoy conditions. The latter’s stablemate Star Shield is more exposed but unlikely to be far away again with Mostawaa another for the shortlist. Beverley winner Amadeus Grey is preferred to Blackcastle Storm and Breguet Boy of the others.
