Verdict

After finishing last on debut at York, Amazing Anna was a huge price at Beverley but wasn’t beaten far in a bunch finish. Gaelic Secret was also easy to back at Catterick but made an encouraging introduction while West Way Never travelled strongly for a long way at York, though his stable is struggling for winners at present. By contrast, James Bethell’s yard is in good form and Clieves Hills is a half-sister to several winners. FOLLOW YOUR HEART’s yearling price quadrupled when he was bought earlier this year. He’s a half-brother to two decent winners and out of a mare who won over this trip as a juvenile so gets the nod.
