Verdict

CLASSY ANNE went close to winning a Class 3 sprint at Ayr a week ago. Beaten only a nose on that occasion, Jim Goldie’s mare can go one better dropping down a couple of grades. Final Venture steps up in class under a penalty as he bids for a hat-trick while Mitchum also arrives in fine form having landed a treble of soft-going victories including over course and distance last time. Pushkin Museum keeps threatening to take advantage of a slip down the weights but could only manage third on his latest start. Imperial Legend looks to be treading water off his current mark and Little Belter has plenty to find with Final Venture.
