Verdict

Peter's Imp, Golden Chance and East Cape look the three to concentrate on here and the vote is given to Golden Chance. The selection won easily last time when beating Platinum Charmer and as that form has since been franked he is difficult to oppose with the very capable Serena Brotherton booked for the ride. Peter's Imp was a fair third in a similar event to this last time at Ripon behind Patxaran and he again has conditions to suit tonight. However, the key to his chance could be the booking of Carol Williams for the ride. Ironically she was on Patxaran when he beat Peter's Imp last time and her expertise in the saddle is a massive boost to the chances of Peter's Imp. East Cape is another with a very able pilot on board and he would certainly have claims on the pick of his form, but he may just need the run after being off the track since October. Next Flight won well last time and is another to consider, but we are happy to return to Golden Chance who looks to have everything in his favour here and he should take the world of beating.
