    Verdict

Aleef drops into this grade for the first time after finishing second off this mark over course and distance last week. If he’s on a going day, David O’Meara’s five-year-old is a threat to all despite his welter burden but Mimic's Memory is much better on the all-weather. START TIME has yet to win for Paul Midgley but the former Godolphin inmate has run well the last twice and has been dropped a pound – it may be his turn today. Nuns Walk handles all types of going and is very consistent. She’s been threatening to get her head back in front lately but the others would need to improve on recent form to play a part.
