In depth

Verdict

A competitive race of its type and FLEET CAPTAIN can follow up his recent winning handicap debut. Placed in mid-division in some solid maidens previously, a 5lb rise probably would not be enough to stop him from this favoured high draw. Cathcart Castle ran a solid race at Epsom last time out and the winner has gone on to score since. Reachtothestars is interesting on handicap debut for Michael Dods and has to be noted in the market accordingly. Whats for Pudding has come into a run of form from a low base figure whilst the handicapper has dropped Las Verglas Star to a mark of 70 having initally rated him at 81 after winning an egg and spoon race at Musselburgh.
