Verdict

No surprise to see Karaka Jack go well as he's steadily working his way back to form for a yard that made a very slow start to the campaign, whilst Makin The Rules is another who is gradually getting his act together for David O'Meara. Woofie is respected as he's shown plenty of solid form on synthetic surfaces and will be a danger off bottomweight if transferring his ability to Turf. But the choice is NAOISE (NAP), a former Jim Bolger inmate, who is a strong traveller through races and hit form in no uncertain terms with a decisive Beverley success latest. He seems sure to go close again despite a 6lb penalty for that victory. Tizlove Regardless is far from easy to catch right but if this confirmed trailblazer is on a going day, then he'll prove hard to pass and is worth a saver if prices allow.
