In depth

Verdict

Victoria Peek gets the confident vote to win this handicap with Arctic Burst and Torrent rating the main dangers. The selection was a good fourth in a much better race behind Knot In Wood last time out. The return to the minimum trip looks sure to suit and from a good draw she is taken to score. Arctic Burst rates the main danger on his best form but he is prone to breaking blood vessels so can not be put forward with any confidence. Torrent has conditions to suit and is sure to run his race but he looks vulnerable to a less exposed type. Best Lead is another that could go well but he ran as if in the handicappers grip when well behind Whinhill House last time. Of the remainder, Cark has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Victoria Peek.
