      Verdict

      Carlitos Spirit hit top form at this time last year and won this race off a 2lb higher mark. It would be no surprise if he left his recent efforts behind and finished thereabouts, but HITS ONLY JUDE gets the vote. He scored over C&D last week and is effectively racing off a 1lb lower mark today with his apprentice's claim taken into consideration. Glenluji has been threatening a return to winning ways and he can go close, but the remainder are all struggling at present though Master Leon has dropped down to a tempting mark.
