In depth

Verdict

Corton Lad was rated 16lb higher when winning over a longer trip here last year. He’s been on a losing run since but has been running well enough lately to suggest he’ll take advantage of a tumbling mark before the season is ended. ALABANZA is an improver who probably has more to offer over this longer trip. He won over 1m2f at Ayr in July and found a mile too short on a return visit. Take A Turn has travelled up from Newmarket and should return home with some prize money while any market interest in She's Pukka should be noted. X Rated usually runs his race and Liars Corner won over 1m4f here last month on only his sixth start. Zealous could also play a role in proceedings
