Verdict

Thornaby Princess made late headway behind MR STRUTTER (NAP) at Catterick on Saturday but all of those in the bottom half of the handicap are carrying more than their allotted weight. The winner had a bit in hand at the North Yorkshire track and looks capable of defying a penalty with a clear run. Someone Exciting was second to the odds-on Only Spoofing here last week but the winner has been beaten since and she was flattered by the bare result. Fintry Flyer’s win at Ayr last month may have been a fluke but Imperial Legend and Kodimoor are both course and distance winners.
