DANDYLEEKIE (NAP) returned to action with a good effort behind Khelman in this grade at Doncaster and connections will be hoping the going remains soft. He’s just preferred to the in-form Ancient Astronaut, who went close at Newmarket having won at Thirsk before that and will also handle the underfoot conditions. Inexes has found Nicholas T too good the last twice now and won this off a lower mark last year while Royal Connoisseur is not out of this either back on his favoured soft ground.
