      Verdict

      A modest event in which Martin Todhunter's Rosie's Result makes plenty of appeal after a second in a Thirsk handicap. The name of Martin Todhunter is hardly a name to associate with sprinters but at least the horse is in some assemblance of form. Park Star looks to have strengthened up after a spell on the all-weather. Her turf form was moderate in the past and the market is consulted as a guide. Mutayam achieved little for Mick Channon and finished a distant fourth of four for new connections. The remainder are fully exposed at selling and claiming levels
