      Verdict

WHERE'S JEFF made a promising reappearance at Ripon then won with plenty in hand at Newcastle on Thursday so coming here with a penalty looks the right option. Alabanza came here for his handicap debut a couple of weeks ago and did very well to be beaten narrowly into third. That was on soft ground but there's no reason he won't be suited by today's conditions. Moretti ran her best race to date at Wetherby last month and further progress can see her in the picture while Knight In Armour has been threatening to lose his maiden tag and wasn't beaten far on soft going here last time. Breathable didn't last out over 1m2f at Beverley though that was a strong race and this trip can see him in the firing line.
