Verdict

Perfect Words won at Thirsk before finishing well behind Roy's Legacy at Ayr when the latter also beat Little Belter and It's Time For Bed. Boxing Shadows has been in good form on the all-weather before a poor effort at Catterick and See Vermont makes more appeal having gone close at Beverley last month. He remains 5lb higher than his most recent victory but GROUNDWORKER (NAP) is back on a winning mark and after finishing third to Imperial Legend over track and trip last week, Paul Midgley’s charge gets the nod.
