      Verdict

      G FOR GABRIAL has improved for the removal of cheekpieces and has won three times already this year. An apprentice’s allowance negates a 3lb rise for his latest success at Beverley and gets the vote. Puckle placed over 1m2f at the latter track last time while El Picador made the frame over the same distance at Redcar and both race over today’s longer trip for the first time. The veteran Card High scored over track and trip last season but Where's Jeff finished behind the selection last time.
