In depth

Verdict

Many Volumes, Pinpoint and Secret World make most appeal and Many Volumes is the pick. Henry Cecil's colt was only narrowly beaten by Red Rocks at Lingfield and that is easily the best recent form on show here. The yard are in good form and it will be a surprise to us if he gets beat. Pinpoint finished behind our selection last time but he was returning from a lengthy break that day so he was entitled to need the run. He should strip fitter here, while Secret World has been a bit disappointing since he impressed in the Lockinge and he has an absence to overcome today. Mutajarred made a pleasing reapperance last time and his yard are in good form so he is also respected. However, this looks a good opportunity for Many Volumes who gets the confident vote.
