Verdict

ZAIDI, a winning pointer and bumper, finished runner-up in a huge field at Fairyhouse on his hurdling debut but only got as far as the second at Kilbeggan when last seen in April. But he doesn't look to have much to beat here and can defy an absence. Mint Boy, another winner between the flags, was behind him at Fairyhouse but will be expected to do better with his stable in such good form. Television has shown some potential over timber and has run well in two recent starts on the Flat following a long break. Champagne Admiral may prove best of the remainder.
