In depth

Verdict

Four Chimneys could get a boost from Jack The Bus in the previous race as he did well when runner-up to him at Navan. On The Way Out looked a useful novice on his first two starts and his handicap debut effort at Punchestown in November should be ignored as he coughed after the race. Jack Absolute was on one of his going days when scoring at Cork but isn't certain to reproduce that run and GENTLE ALICE, who was a close fourth, has a good chance to reverse the form and take this. Hidden Crack is held on that run while Quarryvale is 11lb higher than for her very easy victory at Thurles a month ago despite being beaten subsequently. The handicapper looks to have hold of Cloughmile as he was well beaten at Limerick after completing a double earlier.
