DELAYED ELOQUENCE was runner-up in a maiden hurdle at Wexford last time. Davy Russell stays loyal and the former should go close again back in a handicap. Sharlanda returned a beaten favourite last time having won at Ballinrobe earlier and remains 5lb higher while Ardera Cross scored at Tramore at the end of last year and is still 7lb higher. Broughtons Star has yet to win for Gordon Elliott and looks no nearer doing so but Ayelya finished closer at Tramore last time and is preferred to stablemate Global Racing.
