Verdict

BLACK ZERO won this last year and is the only course and distance winner in the line up. The seven year old followed up with two subsequent victories and can regain the winning thread. Swantykay won over hurdles at Cork last month but has yet to score over fences but the presence of White Arm near the bottom of the weights will have the bookies running for cover as he looked on the upgrade at the beginning of the year and he is still only six. Vicangelome showed the benefit of his very promising opening run at Sligo in September, his first start since January 1, and he followed up at Wexford so he is definitely one for the shortlist.
