FIRE DRILL was probably unfortunate not to win on his only visit to this track last July and gets the vote by virtue of default in a very moderate handicap. Dusty Trail isn't the most consistent of performers but comes up with the occasional good run at this sort of level and a long absence shouldn't be too much of a concern. Connyella would have an obvious chance if repeating her reappearance effort behind Slapper at Limerick but she failed to fire on a subsequent visit to Cork. American Princess has a couple of victories to her credit including at Clonmel last May when she had Rue De Cabestan behind though all of her form is on ground with plenty of give and it remains to be seen how she acts on faster going.
