Aloneamongmillions won this in 2020 and again a year ago but is best on very testing ground. Annamix hasn't had much racing for his age and was rated 154 in 2021 after a narrow defeat by Galvin in a Punchestown Grade 3. He's been looking a light of former days though it wouldn't be a shock to see him bounce back. On The Sod is 7-8 between the flags but generally finds a couple too good in these events and David Christie has a better chance with FERNS LOCK, who is still in the Hunters Chase at Cheltenham. Unbeaten in three starts between the flags, he's been a revelation in similar events at Fairyhouse and Thurles, the latest when having the high-class Billaway 20 lengths behind in second. Grange Island was less than a length behind Billaway at Naas last month but looks held by the selection.
