Rockview Emperor was the surprise winner of this a year ago but, though having not won subsequently, he's still 4lb higher. He can still take care of Enough Is Enough, who beat him narrowly over a mile here in June but is much worse off at the weights. Cosmic Symbol was facing heavy ground for the first time when runner-up at Cork and as he's been left on the same mark should get into the frame again. The placed horses, New Direction and Fast On, weren't far behind and though both had every chance it wouldn't be a shock if the positions were reversed. ELM GROVE won a Navan handicap on ground with some give in September and got no sort of run on her next start at Limerick. She hasn't had much racing and can get back to winning ways.
