DUKE OF MANTUA caught the eye in no uncertain terms at the Curragh last month, staying on when the race was all over behind stable companion St Mark's Basilica. With that under his belt and an extra furlong to travel, he looks the one to beat. Magnanimous has failed to find a finishing burst in his last two runs though Monaasib, who beat him at the Curragh, won next time and was beaten a short-head in a lucrative sales race at Naas. Fight Zone pulled hard in the early stages when tackling a mile at Leopardstown and had nothing left but Artistic Work ran well on soft ground over a mile at the Curragh and is expected to improve. Sword Zorro hasn't been beaten far in any of his races and handled testing ground when runner-up to Wembley at Roscommon.
