Verdict

Mark Johnston has won four of the last six renewals but last year’s winner Hochfeld is 8lb higher this time. Nuits St Georges has winning form over track and trip when narrowly beating Prince Alex in May and the latter debuts for a new yard but WIN O’CLOCK also won over the distance last year. Roger Charlton’s charge posted his best effort of the season so far when second in the Old Newton Cup at Haydock and is taken to confirm running with third-placed My Frankel. The latter races over this far for the first time but is preferred to stablemate Boss Power while Aaddeey is another upped in trip. On To Victory drops in class and Bodyline is worth a second glance on his belated reappearance.
